About Us

The Polar Blast was invented to help stay cool on the hot Texas days!  I created it for myself during the summer of 2016.  I am not a fan of hot smoke so I found the best way to cool the smoke off.  While all my friends liked my creation, I was not ready to produce it and make it public.  I own a design company, but did not want my clients to get the wrong impression.  Aside from my design company, I used to be an insurance broker, and made a great living.  Due to a careless mistake while on vacation, I did not renew my contract because i was not aware of an email that stated we had to click to renew.  No one checks their email on vacation! We've never had to renew our contracts like that, but the mother company wanted to weed out agents like me who started side businesses.  Design work has been my passion my entire life! I stopped paying as close attention to the insurance world when i tarted my company 3 years ago.  So when time came for my annual residual income check to arrive, and it didn't show up, I grew concerned, and called in.  That's when I found out I lost EVERYTHING, my whole salary and book of business.  I couldn't afford a lawyer that could compare to their fleet of lawyers.  I was sunk!! Every night, I facetime with my best friend who lives 4 hours away, and while crying my eyes out not knowing what to do, he suggested I produce the special pipe I had made myself 8 months before!!  I agreed, woke up the next day and began the journey of the POLAR BLAST!  The name is fitting because when you release the bowl and the smoke shoots up, it feels like a polar blast of cold smoke!  I went at it, hiring an engineer to help me 3d print the original design which kept evolving until finally I decided on the perfect design!  I wrote 2 patents for the polar blast, completely by myself.  I combed and sifted through over 260 mass production manufacturers, until I finally found 4 that I trust to produce all the needed components.  Then I found a local company to produce the lid.  The lid is being manufactured at the same plastics factory as many billion dollar brands such as Dewalt, Black and Decker, Kenworth trucks parts, and many many others.  I went from a napkin drawing, to writing 2 patents, to finding the mass production, to building the web presence, all within 65 days by myself! I did not let losing EVERYTHING get me down, I did not look backwards, I kept moving forward.  My 2 quotes i lived by for this year were, "Don't talk about it, Be about it!!!"(me and my bff) and

“Around here, however, we don't look backwards for very long. We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we're curious...and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.” - Walt Disney.

I hope to inspire others who have lost their jobs to keep moving forward and follow their dreams.  I will be helping other people launch their ideas into production, once my Polar Blast has fully launched.
